Matt Cenicola has officially joined the team for The Cold Equations. Cenicola will be working with Danger Chemical Effects to design the set and practical effects for the film.

Director of Photography David Landau is officially on board to shoot The Cold Equations.

Danger Chemical Effects, a division of Ellipsis Films, LLP announces the opening of the its brand new facility, Danger Chemical Workshop. Danger Chemical Effects specializes in producing sets, props, and physical effects as well as visual effects for film. The new workshop will allow Danger Chemical Effects to produce materials for a film with more efficiency at a lesser cost.

Ellipsis Films announces The Cold Equations, based on the short story of the same name. The Cold Equations is currently in pre-production with principal photography to begin in January 2010. The Cold Equations is being executive produced by Chris Schuster, Jason Roberts, and Ryan Kelly with Kelly also directing and Roberts editing.
